Welcome to K-9 Rescue Remedy
Founded in July 2008, K-9 Rescue Remedy was originally set up to help owners of rescue dogs deal with their dog's challenging behavioural issues. Sadly issues are all too common due to their often tragic and neglected past lives.
K-9 Rescue Remedy (or K-9RR for short) is run entirely by volunteers, with our main objective being to stop as many dogs as possible from going back into rescue, by promoting responsible dog ownership and positive behavioural training.
The charity has come a very long way since it was first established
In addition to the training club we also run a small rescue to help as many destitute dogs as we can.
We support our members by; helping them to understand and read their dog's behaviour; promoting a non-judgmental environment offering online and telephone support when they need it . All of our dogs train to pass the Bronze, Silver and Gold Kennel Club Good Citizens Award. We meet on Sunday mornings at Sedlescombe Village Hall during school term times.
